Anticancer Efficacy


This study was conducted by KLS Bio Co., Ltd. Using a xenograft model, female BALB/c-NU mice were administered Euglena for 4 weeks. The results showed that medium-dose (1,000 mg/kg) and high-dose (2,000 mg/kg) groups exhibited greater tumor growth inhibition compared to the low-dose group (500 mg/kg).

These findings suggest that Euglena may inhibit tumor growth in a dose-dependent manner.

Osteoporosis Efficacy


This study was conducted by KLS Bio Co., Ltd. Female Sprague-Dawley rats underwent ovariectomy (OVX) to induce osteoporosis, and Euglena was orally administered for 15 weeks to evaluate bone mineral density.

The results showed that the medium-dose group (1,000 mg/kg) exhibited an improvement in bone mineral density compared to the OVX control group.

These findings suggest that Euglena may provide a certain level of benefit in improving osteoporosis.

Hangover Relief Efficacy of Euglena Powder


Animal studies have demonstrated the hangover-relieving effects of Euglena powder. In a model where male Sprague-Dawley rats were given a single dose of alcohol, Euglena powder significantly influenced the metabolism of acetaldehyde and ethanol in the blood, resulting in a notable reduction of hangover symptoms.

In particular, high-dose administration (500 mg/kg) led to a statistically significant decrease in blood acetaldehyde levels.

These results indicate that Euglena powder may help alleviate hangover symptoms.

Wrinkle Improvement Efficacy of Euglena-Derived Exosomes


Euglena-derived exosome ingredients can be safely used at concentrations below 2% without cytotoxicity. In the dermal layer of the skin, they were shown to increase the expression of the collagen-related gene ColA1 by up to 150%.

These results scientifically confirm that wrinkle improvement is mediated through collagen synthesis induction.

Skin Regeneration Efficacy of Euglena-Derived Exosomes


Euglena-derived exosomes can be safely used at concentrations of 1–5%, and their wound-healing effects were found to increase in a dose-dependent manner.

Furthermore, rapid skin regeneration was visually observed within 24 hours, confirming the ingredient’s cell safety and efficacy in promoting wound recovery and overall skin regeneration.
